Since joining The Connections Group in 2007, Josh Halpin has brought energy and efficiency to a variety of projects undertaken on behalf of Connections Group clients. He has implemented a state-wide health care campaign, executed fundraisers, coordinated press relations, managed web projects, trained interns, and organized volunteers at the grassroots level.

Whatever the challenge, Josh tackles it head on with a wide range of skills, enthusiasm and experience. Prior to joining The Connections Group, Josh worked in a several different fields, including investor relations, waste management research and consulting, tourism, trade development with an emphasis on energy technology, commercial fundraising, and advertising. Josh also spent a year teaching English in Japan.

Josh began his career in politics in 2004 working both as a campaign manager and field coordinator. After the 2004 election, Josh remained active in politics while continuing his education, serving on the finance and fundraising committee for the Multnomah County Democratic Party.

Born and raised in Yakima, Washington, Josh Halpin is a proud graduate of the University of Washington and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University. Josh is an avid traveler, and when he is not at work or planning his next adventure, Josh enjoys recreation league sports, snowboarding, his tomato garden, being a retired rugby player, golf, reading, Husky football, and singing karaoke.
